The Intolerance Of Tolerance And The Gay Rights Agenda
-
It is really no surprise to see the rage and real hate coming forth from the radicals in the gay rights movement. It looks like such rage will continue to be expressed as the protests across the country have demonstrated. A “blacklist” has even been created for boycotting reasons. As noted in prior blogs, this issue is not going to fade any time soon, and it looks like it may reach critical mass this time around.
Christians need to be concerned about how tolerance is being redefined to mean acceptance. For one to be tolerant under this new politically correct vision, one must uncritically accept another person’s sexuality and lifestyle choices. This will be equally applied to those who preach the Gospel of the one and only Savior and Lord of mankind, Jesus Christ. For to say one is in sin and needs to repent is tantamount to spewing forth hate.
The main “sin” is making moral or religious judgments, and that is unforgivable under the new dogmatism of the coming Liberal Theocracy. We will need Christians to hold fast and strong to biblical truth and preach God’s Word and salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Otherwise, Jesus will be reduced to just one of many New Age teachers who had attained a level of consciousness that we all can achieve. Let us not allow such lies to go unchallenged any longer and boldly proclaim the Gospel.
“But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.” 1 Peter 3:14-17

One Response and Counting...
That is a very appropriate biblical quotation for this topic and problem.
