Idolatry And Abortion: Liberalism Is Sacrificing The Unborn To Demons, With The Help Of Pro-Choice Christians
-
President Obama is so pro-abortion that he wants to export abortion to the world. He has rescinded the “Mexico City Policy” through signing an executive order. In this statement there is an attempt to inoculate objections from the pro-life movement by claiming to want to get past the divisiveness of abortion:
“For too long, international family planning assistance has been used as a political wedge issue, the subject of a back and forth debate that has served only to divide us. I have no desire to continue this stale and fruitless debate.
It is time that we end the politicization of this issue. In the coming weeks, my Administration will initiate a fresh conversation on family planning, working to find areas of common ground to best meet the needs of women and families at home and around the world.”
On the face of it this does sound like progress, but this is only if one does not look at the what is being advocated. President Obama wants to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies by restoring funding to the U.N. Population Fund:
“I have directed my staff to reach out to those on all sides of this issue to achieve the goal of reducing unintended pregnancies. They will also work to promote safe motherhood, reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and increase educational and economic opportunities for women and girls.
In addition, I look forward to working with Congress to restore U.S. financial support for the U.N. Population Fund. By resuming funding to UNFPA, the U.S. will be joining 180 other donor nations working collaboratively to reduce poverty, improve the health of women and children, prevent HIV/AIDS and provide family planning assistance to women in 154 countries.”
The problem is that even though there is a claim to want to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, if there are such pregnancies, then abortion is the solution to them. Further, the U.N. Population Fund is a tool to export abortion on demand to the world. The deceptive claims of “reproductive health” that are used by President Obama and other Liberals is a cover for their pro-abortion world view. The U.N. Population Fund claims in the above link that:
“Everyone has the right to enjoy reproductive health, which is a basis for having healthy children, intimate relationships and happy families. Reproductive health encompasses key areas of the UNFPA vision – that every child is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect.”
The key part of this, and what I put in bold, is “every child is wanted”. This reveals the true and evil foundation that justifies abortion on demand. I have interacted with radical pro-abortion proponents and for them, the mother’s or parents wanting the child is what determines if that unborn baby has any value at all. It is also quite troubling how well the rhetoric of “compassion” is used to justify pro-abortion policies. Since we are judging others quality of life to be such that those born into poverty will have a poor life, then it is more “compassionate” to kill such people in the womb. It seems the Liberal view to end poverty is to preemptively kill those who will end up living in it.
The Christian response ought to be the defense of the innocent and fatherless who are oppressed by this kind of evil. Jeremiah warns the people of Judah about the evil deeds that are being committed in their midst:
“The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it. They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.” Jeremiah 7:30-31
Idolatry leads to the sacrifice of children to the false gods of the age. Children always suffer the evil consequences that result from idolatry. Under the wicked world view of Liberalism which uses the rhetoric of “compassion” a pro-abortion and abortion absolutist position is propagated throughout the world. Even worse is that Christians are now accommodating and compromising to these false gods. It is somehow claimed that Christians can be pro-choice. If we take what God’s Word has to say about this then Christians are being pro-idolatry. We learn from one of the Psalms how truly evil the tolerance of such idolatry actually is:
“They worshiped their idols,
which became a snare to them. They sacrificed their sons
and their daughters to demons. They shed innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was desecrated by their blood.” Psalm 106:36-38Christians who are pro-choice, which is really accommodating and compromising to the abortion absolutist positions, are supporting the sacrifice of children to demons. It is a tragedy of idolatry, idolatry that has been unchecked and unchallenged for far too long, that such things are allowed to be under the deceptive banner of Unity. We can agree to disagree so goes the relativist mantra of today. Simply put, no we cannot. We should no longer accept idolatry and the evil it leads to and danger it poses to our children. Christians who tolerate the evil of abortion are under the influence of idols and are tolerating the sacrifice of the unborn and even newly born to demons. There are times when the righteous need to be called to repent, and this is one of those times where there can be no more compromise and no more accommodation.
“Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself.” Ezekiel 3:20-21

Get your facts straight.
Uh, which facts?
God is not a Republican, you idolater!
God is not a Republican, you idolater!
Never said He is. The problem is that Liberalism is a false and idolatrous religion incompatible with biblical Christianity.
What is the opposite of "PRO-CHOICE"? "PRO-LIFE"
What is the opposite of "PRO-LIFE"? "PRO-DEATH"
Let's call it what it is.
First, even if abortion is murder, that doesn't mean that it's a demon sacrifice. It's quite possible for someone to kill someone without any human sacrifice being involved.
Secondly, the U.N. Population Fund isn't the big abortion exporter you make it out to be. The link you provided says nothing about abortion. (The desire that every child should be "wanted" certainly doesn't automatically mean that unwanted children should be aborted! It could just as easily be intended to mean that people shouldn't have sex unless they want a child) Here, from that same website: http://www.unfpa.org/swp/1997/box15.htm
" In no case should abortion be promoted as a method of family planning. [...] Prevention of unwanted pregnancies must always be given the highest priority and all attempts should be made to eliminate the need for abortion."
Sonicsuns,
I think the choice of word "wanted" is central to the abortion debate. Interesting quote you post, but I have seen too many instances where being wanted and the need to advance abortion are hand in hand.
I quote from this argument against pro-choice.. "Idolatry leads to to the sacrifice of children to the false gods of the age.." and "christians who are pro-choice …. are supporting the sacrifice of children to demons. It is a tragedy of idolatry, idolatry that has been unchecked and unchallenged for far too long." and ."Christians who tolerate the evils of abortion are under the influence of idols and are tolerating the sacrifice of unborn and even newly born to demons." This is an example of good intentions gone awry … you sound like some crazy who might use a gun to hurt those who CHOOSE abortion. Worse yet, a real crazy might read this stuff… and think God wants him to MURDER these demon worshipers. Too much. Too extreme for my sensibilities… abortions are about getting pregnant, not demon worship.
I have a perfect solution for this abortion issue,… it is simply to make good birth control accessible to all who want it, AND to give all people an appropriate education about what does and does not cause pregnancy …. knowledge and wisdom, leads to wise choices. No unexpected pregnancies… no need for abortions… I still believe woman are capable of choosing, even the real big choices involving their body. I also believe that an educated woman won't be in a position to need to choose abortion, or not.. Further, taking away choice is not God's way,.. and choice has always been the first gift given to His beloved children – you and I. Our parenting skills (as a nation) are going to "hell"… and here lies the root of all these problems… young people searching for love… and their little bodies packed full of hormones… while mom (and dad?) are off at work.
I have another issue about fetus.. all represent a live person? What about the unfertilized egg, each month… a women presents an egg… ready for ferti;lization … and one microscopic sperm changes this completely disposable egg into a human being … The question is, When is this disposable egg changed from a monthly issue for our sisters,.. changed into a human being, worthy of protection by law, etc.,.. this is a matter not handled by the bible… Your views in this matter are no more relevant than mine, yet.. we seem to see this issue from different angles, hu?!! Just like every church on every corner seems to have a different answer to how to get to heaven. They all can't be right… lots contradict each other… and they use the same bible to come up with all these contradicting paths one must follow to get to heaven… amazes me… reading the same bible and coming up with all this division and conflict…
signed, these are confusing times…
