Time To Confront Pro-Choice Christians Who Are Disobeying Jesus
-

Jesus rebuked His disciples for trying to prevent infants and children from coming to Him. How Jesus must be grieved and holding His wrath until He comes to judge the world. Let me be clear, no Christian can be pro-choice or support those who are for it is an offense to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.“Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Luke 18:15-17

looks like i'm going to hell…oh wait, i'm not a christian.
@Katelyn,
Well then the first part of your statement is true if you are not a Christian. There is still hope…
"Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."
Jesus the Way to the Father
Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:1-6
I'm glad my Masters degree is in clinical psychology, and not in the philosophy of religion, like yours is. Apparently, your discipline encourages people to think they have all the answers, which hypocritically judge people the harshest, on the basis of little, actual information. For example, how can you, or could Jesus, morally advocate that women whose lives are threatened by a late-term pregnancy, concede those lives to their unborn, for the sake of some anti-abortion platform? Sounds like a very immoral stance to me, and definitely something a Jew like Jesus would never favor. Much in the same way, how can real Christians claim a woman who kills her child is necessarily evil, when she may be mentally incapable of assessing or understanding evil? I really tire of people who presume that their narrow way of looking at things must be imposed on my life, through the poisoning of government with religion. To avoid such a contamination was one of the most sacred principles of our country's forefathers, who you claim such (false) allegiance to.
The examples you bring up do not argue in favor of an abortion on demand policy like we have in this country. Even if I grant your examples, then we could still limit the number and types of abortion that are done. C. Everett Koop said that there is no medical need for a late term abortion. So that issue debatable. I do not take instances of infanticide as lightly as you do.
If an abortion doctor is performing an abortion on a woman who has mental issues, that seems problematic as well.
I seriously doubt the founders of this country ever thought women would be able to kill their unborn babies indiscriminately when they wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Anyway, welcome to the blog and thanks for your comment.
