If I Blog And You Do Not Comment, Did I Say Anything?

Let me put a twist on the philosophical conundrum about a tree falling in the forest with know one to hear it: If I blog and no one comments, did I say anything?
Now, this obviously excludes the regular leaver of comments. I recently found out that someone had been a regular reader of this blog but only has recently starting leaving comments. Let me encourage you also to take the plunge and start leaving comments. It is the only way I know you are there. Hmm, if you leave comments you can know that you definitely exist. “I leave comments, therefore I am”.

I guess I will be the one to bust your comment cherry wide open! Didnt you mean to say why I'm not a republican? If I read those complaints correctly, you have described conservative "philosophy" to a t!
I often read your posts and I thank you for continuing to post them. The reason I don't comment is that I don't see much of a use in them. I have noticed that with the increased ability of people being able to see your opinion online, comments have no longer become intelligent conversation but a way to point out how right the writer is and how anyone who doesn't agree with him or her is crazy (at least that is my opinion). Comments may be effective in refining arguments but for that I prefer a journal.
I will try to comment in the future but it is difficult to build up my will to do so.
I am more of a Conservative than a Republican, but there is no where else to go. This is a pretty old post, how did you come across it?

Yeah, support Ron Paul. Jon is right about that part. I would not go as far as supporting Democrats though.
