Democrats Are Totalitarians; Control Is Their Solution To Loughner

  • What thing have we learned about the Democrats since the tragic shooting rampage in Arizona? Simple, the Democratic Party is filled with Totalitarians who are willing to use this tragedy, this crisis, to gain more control over our lives. Creating bureaucracies that control the populace is an easy way to see one’s Totalitarian impulse. From December 2, 2009:

    Hannah Arendt’s in depth study on The Origins of Totalitarianism has some immediate lessons for us today. Particularly as the Democratic Party seeks to take over our health care system and implement control over our lives through Cap and Trade.

    In chapter seven called “Race and Bureaucracy” Arendt provides some keen insight as to what a bureaucracy does in terms of allowing a minority to control the majority, distance one’s decisions from the consequence of his decisions, and to replace the law with the whimsical and changing decrees of the State. Here is an extended discussion of it on pages 214-216. Please forgive my notes in the margins.

    The bureaucracy will be run by the privileged minority, all the power will be in the hands of the few. This seems to be a driving force behind the Obama Administration’s agenda and we now know that he has the most Statist Administration in recent history. This allows for an increasing disconnect between one’s morality in the decisions that are made and how those decisions effect other people, thus death panels are a strong likelihood under ObamaCare since Democrats are pushing . An exploding bureaucracy also leads to a relativistic notion of law which gives the State unrestrained power.

    Law is replaced by decrees that are whimsical, ever changing, and even contradictory. Once objective truth is abolished and the relation between facts and reality is severed, there is nothing to stop a Totalitarian’s impulse. The made up fear over global warming that has been exposed as a myth is proof of this. The Democratic Party’s push for Cap and Trade is about raw power and nothing else. Plus, population control is intimately connected to made up fears about global warming. Any doubt of their propaganda threatens their quest for that power and I think we will see them come after those who dare question their core beliefs.

    The 2010 election in America may prove to be one the most critical ones in our history. If the Democrats utilize ACORN successfully there will be nothing that can stop these Democratic Party radicals. God help us.

    ObamaCare was and will always be about gaining and keeping control over our lives. George Orwell tried to warn us about the Left’s Totalitarian impulse and the hellish reality that would come about if the Left was able to get the power it wants. From December 21, 2009:

    I argued in a previous post that Totalitarians love bureaucracy and that these Democrats are today’s Totalitarians. The Democratic Party is obsessed with controlling every aspect of our lives and they are about to get control over our health care decisions. George Orwell brilliantly critiqued the Left’s obsession with power in his novel 1984.

    It is time to refresh people’s memory and to warn them about what is to come if a Party is able to control the totality of our lives. I will use sections from the book that go to the heart of the issue and then post the video at the bottom.

    Once a political Party assumes absolute power over the lives of citizens there is no objective way to check that power. Truth no longer exits and is dictated by the Party. History, philosophy, ethics and religion serve the Party because anything outside of the Party’s control is a threat to the Party. In the novel, Winston, is one unfortunate man who decides to question what he has been told. The pages below show how the Party seeks to persuade Winston’s thoughts. Starting on page 205 with “On the contrary” Winston is forced to see five fingers when in fact four fingers are being held in front of him.

    Even one’s senses must obey the Party. There is no objective reality only the subjective whims of the Party that may change at any moment. Anyone who dares question the Party is a thought criminal and can be tortured into submission. Such methods are frowned upon today so the politically correct version may be “sensitivity training”. The goal is the same only the means will have changed.

    The Party is not content to control our minds but also must control our affections. This means that nothing else can be loved but the Party. To that end, Winston faces the caged rat starting on page 234 and ending at the page break on 236.

    The bonds of love are broken as Winston screams to have Julia experience the rat cage. The Party is ultimately victorious and Winston believes that 2+2=5.

    At about 1:20 in the movie, the last thirty minutes, these scenes are powerfully portrayed from the book.

    If the Democratic Party wins in 2010 with help of the criminal organization ACORN, there may not be another chance to stop them and their Totalitarian agenda.

    The comparison between Liberals and Totalitarians is even stronger when you factor in abortion. The Democrats have adopted a racially cleaned version of Nazi eugenics. Instead of dehumanizing the Jews like the Nazis did, Democrats dehumanize all of humanity. President Obama and Democrats always protest being compared to Marxist or other Totalitarians. But if we ask the right kinds of questions we might find the right answers. Obama may not be a Bolshevik kind of Marxist but he may be of the Menshevik kind.

    Unfortunately many Conservatives either fall to or are unwilling to follow what this means to it’s logical conclusion. Hot Air is one such Conservative blog guilty of this. A Totalitarian will use any means necessary to achieve their end, which is getting power. In the wake of the Loughner shooting, we must not put anything past the Democrats in terms of how they will seek to use the tragedy to further their agenda. They are already proposing new controls on guns and speech.

    This will also have profound implications for Christians in America if the Totalitarian aims of the Democrats are realized. Christians are already being told to get re-educated at universities controlled by Liberals. Imagine what will happen once we are required to accept homosexuality as a normal expression of human sexuality? Liberalism should not only be seen as a Totalitarian political philosophy but a religion with it’s own dogma. Liberalism is not compatible with Christianity at any level. Just remember that Liberals are the greatest persecutors of others. From Charles Spurgeon:

    The very persons who talk most about being liberal in their views are generally the greatest persecutors. If I must have a religious enemy, let me have a professed and avowed bigot, but not one of your “free thinkers” or “broad churchmen” as they are called, for there is nobody who can hate as they do; and the lovers of liberal-mindedness who have no creed at all think it to be their special duty to be peculiarly contemptuous to those who have some degree of principle, and cannot twist and turn exactly as they can.

    Do Christians really want to empower those who hold views that will lead to the persecution of Christians? Do Conservatives want to continue to deny where Liberal beliefs will lead us? I hope not.
