Should parents let their 5 year old boy wear dresses because it makes him feel happy?
This parenting philosophy raises some serious questions. What other things will they let Dyson do because it make him feel happy? Have we reduced parental guidance to the lowest common denominator here? My four year old girl sure would be happy if I let her run around the house naked. Does that mean I should take her to the mall naked? Maybe I can get on the Today Show with her? Yes, children should be allowed to have an imagination and play, but this seems to clearly cross the line.

My 13 year old son's response was "He's gonna get messed up in the head"
Thanks for the comment. Your 13 year old son has more common sense than that boy's parents combined.
Ahh, what do you "gonna"?
This should have come out saying,,,,What do you mean"gonna get messed up in the head?"—I think he is already there
