Bill Maher likes to turn any support or any opposition of an African American politician into a race issue. Republicans are racist when they oppose President Obama.
Republicans are also racist when they support Herman Cain.
If Bill Maher wants to be consistent, then I think we can say that he and other Liberals only support President Obama because he is half white and they only oppose Herman Cain because he is more African American than Obama.

Maher does not say it is racist to oppose Obama. He says people oppose Obama because they are racist. Can you see the difference? If you can't, it is time to turn in your Philosophy badge. When I check back tomorrow, I expect a retraction, or your blog's name to be simply "Blue Collar" which is briefer but less catchy.
Maher's reasoning can be turned back on him, plain and simple. You should be able to see that.

This is what you do. It's unclear how much you make these idiotic comments from pure dishonesty and how much you make them from your being genuinely stupid.

The whole reason Maher in the first video brings up Bush is because of the race issue. Since supporters of Bush had no problem with his budgets but do now with Obama's, therefore they are racist. The second video Maher asserts that people support Cain to show that that they aren't racist, even though they are. So either way you cut it one is a racist for supporting or for not supporting a black politician. The same can be said about the Democrats who supported Obama by following Maher's reductionist view on this.

Maher didn't say that all tea partiers are racist and and all those said racists support Cain to hide it, and that no other people support Cain for any other reason. Your argument rests on these inaccurate assumptions, to begin with. Which is stupid.

this whole debate is getting tiresome, end all the perks these corrupt pols get, for example : if I'm not mistaken, after one term they get pentioned and health care for life? While the rest of us are doomed to SS and medicade. Are we afraid to discuss these very important issues that are certainly a burden on the taxpayers?
