California Has It's Own Caylee Anthony; 2 Year Old Girl Beaten To Death By Parents
-
I am a father of 3, a nearly 5 year old girl and 18 month old twin boys. Whenever my boys want me to pick them up they will raise their arms and say “up” as best they can but it is still just a grunting sound. My daughter will run to me or ask me in her sweet little voice to carry her. It seems that a child’s natural instinct is to look to or move to a parent when in need of something. What kind of parent would react to their child’s cries for help or wanting affection with brutality? Tragically, here in California, and in the wake of the Casey Anthony verdict, a 2 year old girl has been beaten to death by her parents. From the SF Chronicle:
The parents of a 2-year-old girl who was admitted to a Long Beach hospital with multiple injuries have been arrested for investigation of murder and cruelty to a child.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said 24-year-old Miriam Abrego and 23-year-old Michael Lara-Morales was arrested Friday after the toddler was taken off life support.
Authorities said the child sustained multiple injuries at the family’s Lynwood home on July 2, but her parents didn’t call 911 until the next day. When paramedics arrived the toddler was in full cardiac arrest.
A coroner’s autopsy will determine the cause of her death.
The mother was being jailed for investigation of murder. Bail was set at $1 million. The father was being jailed on $500,000 bail for investigation of cruelty to a child.
I wish instances of this kind of grotesque child abuse were less common, but they are not. Just last month a mother killed her 6 week old baby girl in a microwave. Should this really surprise given how we let mothers kill their unborn babies for any reason and up to the child’s birth? No, I think we ought to expect this kind of thing to become an increasingly common occurrence until we start defending the most defenseless class of humanity the world has ever know, the unborn.

This is a tragic situation. I blame our system as this child had been taken from the parents bwfore. Clearly our society thinks that it is in the best interest of the child to b with its mother. I think its complete bull. I think the parents are worthless and cps needs to take accountability.
I THINK THE MOTHER IS WORTHLESS… FROM REPORTS THAT IVE SEEN, THE FATHER WAS WORKING AND WHEN HE GOT HOME HE NOTICED WHAT HAPPENED AND CALLED 911… HANG THE MOM
