Eating At Antie Em’s Kitchen: A Review
-
You have to hand it to the Food Network because my wife recently saw an episode of “Sugar High” that featured Auntie Em’s Kitchen, and she wanted to go there for our anniversary breakfast. Parking can prove to be a bit of a challenge if it is busy, expect to walk a few blocks.

While you wait you can look at items in the market area.
Their menu accurately reflects what you can expect there. Dogs are with customers who sit in front on the sidewalk area.
You get a good portion for the price and do not leave hungry. The french toast and pancakes tasted great. I think the french toast was deep fried and that gave it nice crisp texture.

The single bathroom provides some interesting reading material.

And do not leave without getting some of their giant chocolate chip cookies.
Overall I would highly recommend Auntie Em’s Kitchen. Good food and good service even while busy. The self serve coffee table can prove to be a little frustrating as you may have to wait for fresh coffee to be made, but the coffee is good. If you live in the area and have friends or family visit it would be a good place to take them.
