Jon Huntsman Tweet Affirms Belief In Evolution And Global Warming; End Your Campaign Now
-
Republican Presidential candidate Jon Hunstman has probably just ended his hopes of lasting long in the race with a tweet from yesterday. In Huntsman’s tweet he affirms a belief in evolution and in global warming because he trusts scientists.

This is likely in response to Rick Perry being question by a boy about the same issues yesterday. Hunstman does not realize the the belief in such things is essentially a deeply held religious belief for the Left and this attempt to appeal to them like this makes no sense. I would advise people to stop contributing to Hunstman’s campaign because he clearly is not going to last long if he keeps trying to endear himself to the other side. And no, I will not call you crazy, just finished.

Hey, ho, Huntsman must go!
Well, I agree with him, evolution and global warming are facts. Maybe it won't pad his relations with the right very much but I think it's good he's not folding and saying he has no opinion or lying outright.
And he's right, Republicans are being seen by many now as the "ant-science" party. And by the way, evolution/global warming are not "religious beliefs". They make no claims about deities nor moral codes. And furthermore, why do people care so much about people believing or not believing in religious things? The Church and State are separated. Religion has rightly been kept out of public schools, courts and in most cases politics, so why should we base who we support on religious beliefs? Does believing in evolution or creationism/intelligent design affect one's actions in office? No, there's nothing any of these has an effect on in politics.
And as for global warming, even if it isn't true (I think it is correct), we should ALWAYS be on the lookout for cleaner, safer energy, and the faster the better.
I'm sorry to have to inform you, that you are clearly mistaken. Evolution is NOT science; evolution is a religion of materialism. I will make it very simple for you, because you do not even know what you believe: Followers of evolution believe that billions of years ago, an unknown particle (sometimes called a 'singularity') exploded, resulting in everything we see today. Now, no one was there to see this particle, no one knows its supposed composition, and no one was there to see the particle explode. The existence of this supposed particle is accepted by FAITH. If it is accepted by faith, then evolution is a religion. Even the scientists who have been strong believers in evolution, know that evolution is a religion. To demonstrate, I will include a few quotes from these evolutionary scientists:

Darwinian atheist Michael Ruse has even acknowledged that evolution is their religion!
"Evolution is promoted by its practitioners as more than mere science. Evolution is promulgated as an ideology, a secular religion—a full-fledged alternative to Christianity, with meaning and morality. . . . Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today."
Ruse, Michael, "Saving Darwinism from the Darwinians," National Post (May 13, 2000), p. B-3.

"Piltdown man was thought to be a missing link for over 50 years before it was discovered to be a fraudulent combination of a human skull and an orangutan jaw. But because people wanted to believe evolution, they initially accepted the evidence without scientific scrutiny. The many different and dubious interpretations of Java man and Peking man (well documented in Bones of Contention by Martin Lubenow) are further evidence that people see what they believe in the fossils. Nebraska man was a hallmark in the Scopes Trial, but the tooth that inspired this image was later determined to be from an extinct pig."
-Roger Patterson, Biological Evolution, Chapter 8, Feb. 3, 2011 (AiG, 2011)

“Big bang cosmology is probably as widely believed as has been any theory of the universe in the history of Western civilization. It rests, however, on many untested, and in some cases untestable, assumptions. Indeed, big bang cosmology has become a bandwagon of thought that reflects faith as much as objective truth.”
G. Burbidge, “Why Only One Big Bang?,” Scientific American, 266 no. 2 (1992): 96.

"The absence of fossil evidence for intermediary stages between major transitions in organic design, indeed our inability, even in our imagination, to construct functional intermediates in many cases, has been a persistent and nagging problem for gradualistic accounts of evolution."
—Stephen J. Gould, in Evolution Now: A Century After Darwin, ed. John Maynard Smith (New York: Macmillan, 1982), p. 140.

"We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door.”
Richard Lewontin, “Billions and Billions of Demons,” The New York Review, 9 January 1997, p. 31.

These are just a few statements from leading evolutionists, who know that they are promoting a religion of Materialism. I hope you noticed that at least one of these statements also mentioned the ABSENCE of fossil evidence for intermediary stages.
So it is very clear that evolution is a religion. Now the question is, which religion do you want to follow? Do you want to believe men, who are imperfect, prone to error, and subject to prejudices and preconceptions? Your eternal destiny is at stake! Or, do you want to lay aside your pride, and put your faith in Jesus Christ the unique
(one-of-a-kind) Son of Almighty God? God was there at the beginning, He created everything, and His love for you has no limit! He is calling you today to accept His sacrifice for your sins and mine—-His only Son.
Emcee,
Dost thou not understand the difference between Cosmology and Evolution? Evolution is about the origin of species, not the origin of the universe. It's a very bad idea to start out telling other people what they believe in.
Todd,
If global warming is a religious belief, then the Chinese Communist Goverment must be god. They actually do change the weather. Here's the evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvEZH3UilrI
Mock and laugh all you want, Burly-Burly…..you will not be laughing in front of Jesus Christ on Judgment Day:
