Liberals Should Blame Themselves For Destroying Obama

I am getting a little sick and tired of hearing about how Liberals are all upset with President Obama. The unions are mad and planning on not attending the DNC in 2012, the environmentalists are mad and getting arrested because of it, and the Congressional Black Caucus is mad because Obama is not going into their communities. Liberals overall are just complaining about Obama. From the Whittier Daily News:
Liberals argue that he caved on the debt ceiling. Unions are upset over his handling of unemployment and labor issues. Hispanics brought the immigration debate directly to his campaign doorstep.
President Barack Obama’s summer of discontent has been marked by rumblings within his Democratic political base over his willingness to fight congressional Republicans and his approach to fixing the economy.
Liberals disappointed with Obama for compromising with the GOP during the debt-ceiling showdown now are calling on him to hold firm against Republicans this fall. They want him to push a bold jobs agenda while drawing a strong line on taxes and protecting Medicare and Social Security.
In recent weeks, the gripes have become so loud that the president himself acknowledged them during his Midwest bus tour this week.
“I’ve got a whole bunch of responsibilities, which means I have to make choices sometimes that are unattractive and I know will be bad for me politically and I know will get supporters of mine disappointed,” Obama said in Iowa. He claimed progress on the economy, health care and two wars. And, offering his backers a bit of tough love, he added: “Sometimes you’ve got to make choices in order to do what’s best for the country at that particular moment, and that’s what I’ve tried to do.”
No, it is Liberals who should be blamed for the potential Obama defeat in 2012. While Obama is clearly an extreme Leftist radical, they controlled the legislation for two years and did not restrain themselves. They forced ObamaCare on the American people, the prize jewel of of Liberalism. ObamaCare, unless overturned by the Supreme Court, makes dependence on the State mandatory. In Liberal thinking, ala an Orwellian phrase, “Dependence Is Freedom”. Or we could say it this way, “Dependence Is Justice”, for we should realize that justice under Liberalism means having the State runs our lives.
They passed unread legislation so we could find out what was in it after the fact. Liberals got greedy and now they should be blaming themselves. They revealed to us who they really are instead of hiding it and they should be blaming themselves. The American people should be blaming themselves for voting for Obama in first place by thinking he was anything but a radical community organizing Leftist.

It should now be evident why liberals are such a morose bunch. They can't win for losing. If Obama actually fixed the economy and created jobs for their constituencies it would only be because he compromised too much and adopted some conservative ideas. Liberals live in a world of idealized paradox; jobs vs. socialism, abortion vs. "Save the… insert favorite animal or plant", economy vs. environmentalism, welfare vs. liberty. In each paradox, they want both the ideal and the antithesis of that ideal. Poor Liberals.
Obamacare was a bridge too far. I hope we can reverse it.
