"Volition": The Link Between Slavery, The Holocaust And Abortion (Video)
-
I first saw this video back in 2008 and it was no longer available online. Now “Volition” has finally been released on youtube and it is a must watch for anyone with an opinion about abortion. This video powerfully connects the common thread of what kind of evil emerges when someone’s humanity is denied. I have made this point before in comparing the Holocaust and abortion.
This is what happens when Christians compromise and appease their faith with the world. They no longer stand against the evil that flows from the human heart. Evil ceases to be evil and is embraced as good, and good ceases to be good and is rejected as being evil.
“Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.” Isaiah 5:20HT: Life News

Trying to win an argument with Godwin's Law is a fallacy, even if it's done with a video.
Reductio ad Hitlerum at it's finest Todd.
I guess you guys would have to accept the Nazi dehumanization of the Jews and the justification of slavery since you reject the commonality they have with abortion. To undermine the the intrinsic value of human life leads to untold evil and your dismissal of that is rather troubling.
It is one thing to say that I respect the "sanctity of life" and then smack a mosquito on my arm after it has bitten me. It is another thing to say that I respect the "sanctity of life" and then preside over the mass murder of millions of people. I would certainly hope that you can see a degree of difference between the two and realize that abortion probably falls somewhere in the middle and not on one end of the extreme or the other.
Comparing an unborn baby to a mosquito? How about a newborn? If I recollect, and unless you have changed your view, you think infanticide up to a year is morally acceptable. Abortion necessitates infanticide.
Nope. If you re-read my post, you'll see that I said abortin falls in the middle of the two extremes. And, nope agian. Inside the word "infanticide" is the word "infant". If you look that up in a dicitionary you will find that to be a range from a new born baby up to the age of two years old.. Therefore killing someone in this age range would in ded be fanticide.
Notes to Todd:
Killing an adult is not killing an infant.
Killing a mosquito is not killing an infant.
Killing sperm is not killing an infant.
Killing and egg is not killing an infant.
Killing an embryo is not killing an infant.
But, killing a person between the ages of newborn and two IS killing an infant.
It's okay to still disagree with me, but at least admit that you used the wrong word based on its definition: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/infanti…
It does not matter what Merriam-Webster defines as 'infanticide;' nor does it matter what you or I define it to be. What matters is what God defines it to be. And it won't be spelled out for you as 'infanticide is ______, ' because that word didn't exist during the time of the writing of God's Word. To fined out what God says about the subject, you must find out what God says about human life in general—in other words study all of the passages of Scripture on human life, and then you will understand God's view. By doing so you will also discover God's view of abortion, murder, capital punishment, as well.
"But, killing a person between the ages of newborn and two IS killing an infant. "
And this is acceptable to you?
Good points. I often wonder how god defines a miscarriage. Is it his fault or the woman's fault?
Neither. We live in a sin-cursed, fallen world, and things do not always turn out as we humans think that they should. This does not mean that God is not in control, however; It is not God's fault that we chose to disobey His commands.
Thus we live in a world that we have made. At times He intervenes according to His own Wisdom and Pleasure in accordance with His Plan. We cannot see the future, but we must trust Him who knows the end from the beginning. And that's the point……it is somewhat arrogant of mankind to think that we have all the answers, that we know what is best in every situation. God wants us to trust Him, despite our circumstances.
