If Casey Anthony Was Raped, Then Pro-Choice Logic Dictates Caylee’s Life Had No Value
-
What is the cry of the pro-abortion Left in regards to abortion? No woman should be forced to give birth to a child she does not want, but even more so if that child is the product of a rape. Liberal blogs regularly attack any attempt to restrict abortion, and if you oppose abortion even in the case of rape, you are some sort of moral monster in their eyes. If we allow the means of conception to substantively impact the value of the thing created, then at no time can the value of the thing change. I have previously argued that Casey Anthony should be considered a feminist heroine since she essentially had a late-term abortion. In this case I am referring to the life of Caylee Anthony and her possible conception through rape. From TMZ:
Casey Anthony said she was raped at a party when she was 18 and that’s how she conceived Caylee — this according to Casey’s former psychiatrist
The psychiatrist — Dr. Jeff Danziger — recounts the allegation in his deposition, which was just unsealed today by a Florida judge.
In the deposition, Danziger cites an interview he had with Casey in November 2010 — claiming, “Two beers, possibly given another drug. Woke up passed out … Don’t remember anything at a party, age 18. This is how she said she got pregnant.”
Danziger claims Casey did not know the identity of the father.
According to Danziger’s tests, Casey showed no signs of mental illness.
Upon conception, there is nothing added or subtracted from the developing baby. It is a continuous process where a substance, a person, grows in a non-degreed sense. Meaning that from conception to death one is fully human at all times. If we adopt the Left’s view of personhood, then it can be degreed and the power to decide that is with the mother or the State. Getting back to the conception of Caylee, if she was truly conceived in rape, then her life has no value no matter how old she was at the time of her death. Not only that, her mother, Casey, was well within her rights as the mother to take Calyee’s life anytime she saw fit. One would also have to tell others who came into existence through rape that their lives were not valuable as a result.
The pro-choice position, which is really a pro-abortion position, requires that infanticide and filicide be accepted. The only way to prevent this slide is to adopt and argue that personhood is non-degreed and that it fully present at conception. Otherwise as we have seen in the world’s history, unimaginable evil results.

Murder and choosing whether or not to bring a child into the world are two different things.
For some reason your reply isn't popping up on my screen. Anyway, it's hard to say. I understand where you're coming from, but it's really a matter of law. The mother maintains all rights while the fetus is in the womb since they are biologically one entity. I can't say that a fetus doesn't have life all the way up to delivery, but in the first term, I would find it hard not to justify someone's want for an abortion. In my mind, if the fetus can live on its own, an abortion shouldn't be performed.
Ultimately what you or I say shouldn't even matter. We aren't talking about our own bodies. I can't tell you what to do with your body just like you can't tell me what to do with mine. Why should we be allowed to tell other's what they can do with theirs solely based on individualistic religious principle?
