Joel Osteen Says Homosexuality Is A Sin On Oprah’s New Show (Video)

I was expecting to find a lot to disagree with Joel Osteen on in a clip of him on Oprah Winfrey’s new show, but that did not happen. Either Osteen is getting closer to the truth and the Gospel or he is getting better at concealing what he really believes.
To his credit he affirms the biblical truth that homosexuality is a sin that must be dealt with. It is the part about how one gets to God that I am not that impressed with Osteen’s explanation. It is good that he affirms that Jesus is the one way to God.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:1-6
This is qualified by saying there are many paths to Jesus and that Jesus could reveal Himself to people in many ways. We really need Osteen to explain who he thinks Jesus is. Could Jesus reveal Himself to someone by looking like Muhammad, like Buddha, or like some angelic being? I have to wonder about Osteen views because he affirmed before his church how thankful he was for what God was doing in Oprah’s life and we know that Oprah rejects Jesus as the only way to God and thinks homosexuality is good. What do you think?
