Here is about a clear cut case of racism making it’s way into a headline as you will have. Jeremy Lin played a poor game and the New York Knicks’ winning streak comes to an end and this is how ESPN called it.

Whoa, Todd. You have established here on your website that racism was eradicated in the US by the early 1970s.
I point it out when I see it. I just don't think everything qualifies like some people do.
Well, not to be contrary but I don't see this as racist. To say "chink' alone and by itself is very racist. I get that. The phrase "Chink in the armor" however is an idiomatic expression that has been around since the year 1500. One idiot's mistake in usage should not prompt permanent removal of the phrase from dictionaries and the entire English language, but, as grandma used to say: "One bad apple spoils the whole bunch".
It's the underlying connotation that's racist.
Anyone who thinks racism has been eradicated in this country is in some pretty serious denial.
