The Left’s Fascist Response To Phil Robertson

What is the lesson we are learning from the Left’s reaction to Phil Robertson publicly expressing views about homosexuality? Swift and immediate punishment must be dished out to anyone who dares question Liberal Dogma about any issue, particularly their orthodoxy on social issues. This is nothing new since Democrats are today’s Totalitarians. Their response to Robertson is outright Fascist.

The A&E Network’s suspension of Phil Robertson, star of the most popular reality show in the history of television, for espousing views on homosexuality identical to those found in the New Testament may not be the first PC lynching in the history of our country, but it is certainly now the most prominent. It is also a singular example of how political correctness, via cultural relativism, is used to undermine democracy and freedom of speech and is, at its core, fascistic.

Yes, I just used the f-word and quite deliberately. PC and cultural relativism are the godchildren of Martin Heidegger and Michel Foucault, the philosopher apologists, respectively, for those most totalitarian of leaders (and great supporters of homosexuality… yeah, right) Adolph Hitler and the Ayatollah Khomeini. I know this flies over the heads of A&E executives who are unlikely to have read much, if any, Heidegger or Foucault, or know anything of the philosophers’ relationships to those dictators, but they should know how their minds have been manipulated, because what they have done is outrageous and reactionary.

Don’t like that quote, then how about something from a feminist saying the same thing.

“To express yourself in a magazine in an interview — this is the level of punitive PC, utterly fascist, utterly Stalinist, OK, that my liberal colleagues in the Democratic Party and on college campuses have supported and promoted over the last several decades,” Paglia said. “This is the whole legacy of free speech 1960’s that have been lost by my own party.”

If the Democrats and their Leftist shock troops can take down the most popular reality show ever within days, imagine how easy it will be for them to take you down, or some random preacher or home school family because they want to criminalize dissent? The importance of this cannot be overstated. This is a full scale assault on the freedom of speech and religion in America. More at Legal Insurrection and Hot Air.

  1. What on earth are you talking about? Phil Robertson is not in jail nor is he in court or otherwise illleagally detained for having said what he said. He free speech has been preserved and I think he can and should continue to say what he is saying witout having to go to jail. Now that corporations are people too (at least according Mitt Romney) I guess A&E voiced it's opinion too! Seems like to me you should be mad at A&E.
